Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Richmond County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
When a visitor sends an email or contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. The message is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

- The referring website, when available.
- Date and time stamps.
Cookies and Similar Tools
Cookies help show how visitors use the site and support site functions. A browser can reject or remove cookies, although blocking them may cause some tools or features to work differently.
Reasons Data Is Used
Collected information supports the site's operation and helps us understand whether pages work as intended. It may be used to:
- Keep pages available and responsive.
- Send search requests to the selected partner tool.
- Measure which resources visitors find useful.
- Detect errors and resolve technical problems.
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links may lead to NNRJ records pages, VADOC services, court and federal portals, or outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy notice and data practices control.
Advertising providers may also collect activity across websites to select ads on their own platforms. Their collection takes place through their systems, not a records database maintained by Richmond County Released Inmates.
